The Penang International Floral Festival, held at the Horticulture Centre, was a let down to me. After seeing the big billboards and all, I thought it must be a big hoo-ha event.
I guess I expected too much out of it. I have always imagined it to be something like this. Not too far-fetched isn't it?
Anyway, they did have orchids, and orchids, and different species of greens, and orchids, and bonsais, and orchids.
Boring. I left in about 20 minutes, max.
It was quite a disappointment that there weren't any roses at all. Or tulips. Or some other better-looking flowers.
Oh well. At least I can say I've been to the botanical garden.
